So you should make sure that you change your timing belt, fuel filter, brakes, tires, and shocks before they become a problem. You should know that cars today don’t need tune ups for as long as a hundred thousand miles.

Use a private garage. You don’t have to take your Chevy to the Chevrolet dealership for service. If there is a local garage that knows the make and model of your car and that can give great service, use that so you can save a lot of money.
